We hope this email finds you well. We are excited to have you at the upcoming Chicago Pipe Show. Here are some important updates for your convenience:
- Show Registration Desk: After checking into the hotel, please collect your show passes or purchase additional tickets from the show registration desk. Passes are required to enter all events, including the smoking tent. Please provide your first and last name when picking up your pass.
- Chicago Pipe Show events listing can be found here.
- Each pass comes with six drinks tickets, totaling to $24 worth of drink tickets. These tickets can be used at pop-up bars set up for the Chicago Pipe Show. The bar will be located close to the doors leading to the smoking tent.
- 1 ticket = 1 soda or water
- 2 tickets = 1 beer
- 3 tickets = cocktail or wine
- You can combine your $4 drink tickets with “cash” to buy or upgrade your beverage. Please note that the hotel is now cashless and only accepts debit or credit cards.
- Arriving at the hotel and unloading: The doorman will be able to assist you unload your car when you arrive at the Hyatt’s front entrance. Your items will be moved to the lobby for the hotel check in process. Park your car in the hotel parking lot and then continue to the hotel lobby for your check-in process. Please note: Do not leave your car unattended at the front entrance as it can be ticketed by the police. If you require additional assistance when you arrive, please call Vera at our Show Registration Desk 847-414-2242.
- Table Setup Instructions: Vendors can set up their tables at the below times (subject to change):
- Date: Friday, May 2 2025, Time: 2pm-8pm
- Date: Saturday, May 3 2025, Time: 7am-9am
- Date: Sunday, May 4 2025, Time: 8:30am-9am
Table dimensions are 72″ X 30″ (182cm X 76cm). The show floor has very limited power availability and therefore most tables do not have access to power unless pre-arranged with the show organizers.
- Show Floor Map: Vendor names and table numbers can be found here and map is located here. Please note that the map is subject to change. If you have any questions or concerns about your table or location please contact us immediately.
- Carts: Due to union rules, guests are not allowed to borrow the hotel’s carts. Bellhops are available to help load/unload items. We highly recommend that you bring your own carts.
- Hotel Information:
- RV/Bus/Trailer Parking: Vehicles requiring more than one parking space (i.e RVs, buses and trailers) are not permitted to park in the hotel parking lot. Please reach out to the show director to request parking in lot Z. Limited spots available.
- Show Policies: Please review the show policies which include guidance on alcohol consumption in the smoking tent and the code of conduct.
- Silent Auction Donation: Your donations to the silent auction help support the pipe show and play an important role in funding next year’s show. We greatly appreciate your generosity and support. Your silent auction donations can be handed over by the registration desk or silent auction area.
- Room Hopping: Room Hopping is back at the Hyatt. Once you register for your room, leave the information on the room hopping easel found in the registration desk in the lobby or the smoking tent.
- Wifi: Wireless Internet is complimentary in your guest room and public spaces. Connect to @Hyatt_Wifi and follow prompts to access the internet.
