Welcome to the Chicagoland Pipe Collectors Club website.

With great regret we announce the cancellation of the 2021 Chicago Pipe Show due to the Covid-19 restrictions now issued in place. On Friday March 19, 2021, the Illinois Governor issued a statement regarding the full opening of Illinois meeting places. The predicted timeline is such that we would not know if we could hold a show until some date in July. The financial commitments that the CPPC, show vendors and pipe collectors would have to make in the next few months is a risk that we cannot make. As if that was not enough to cancel the 2021 Show, on Sunday March 20, 2021, the Olympics cancelled all 600,000 tickets held by persons not living in Japan over concerns about foreign travel and restrictions. As an international show we cannot host a show with out our worldwide vendors and pipe collectors. Therefore, we came to the conclusion that it was not feasible to hold our show in 2021.
Craig Cobine, Show Director

The Club started in 1993 with a small group of pipe smokers meeting at local lounges and restaurants for companionship and trading information and ideas about the hobby of pipe collecting. Over time we established meeting venues where we could display our pipes and other smoking items and buy, sell and swap from each other. Oh, and smoke together for an evening. Our first “Chicago Show” was held in 1996 and has steadily grown to one of the largest hobby shows of it’s type in the world. We invite you to browse our site and note information on shows and meetings. Our chat and forum pages will let you communicate with us and other enthusiasts in the hobby. It’s all here for fellow pipe smokers and collectors and anyone who wants to know about and understand our hobby.
