The Chicagoland Pipe Show is coming along very well.
We are at 298 exhibitor tables already reserved for the Show.

As of yesterday the (two day) Wednesday and Thursday Pipe Making Seminar was fully reserved with the maximum of 12 attendees.

We still have some Saturday evening Pipe & Cigar Dinner (Filet Mignon) tickets remaining.  These dinners are $65.00 each.  Keep in mind that the attendees also get “goodies bags.”  Please by advised, that due to Illinois State Law, you cannot smoke at this dinner but we have the large Smoking Tent where you can enjoy the free goodies that you receive.

Don’t forget to make your resort reservations for the Show at 630-584-6300 or 800-999-3319 and mention that you are coming for the Show to get your discount.

It is now time to advise our Show visitors of those selected for the CPCC Educational Glass Display Cases for 2010 and their magnificent displays, which you will see as soon as you enter the Show Exhibit Hall on May 1, 2010:

He will be displaying his entire Charatan Pipe Collection.  Within the collection, will be 6 of the rare egg-in-hand shapes from small to very large.  There will be 12 #44 and #44-ish shapes.  The remaining shapes are pretty eclectic.

He will be bringing his Peterson Mark Twain (model) pipe collection, which is comprised of Mark Twain Limited Edition, Mark Twain Commemorative and Mark Twain Deluxe Quality System Pipes.

He will be bringing his, rarely seen, fantastic collection of well-known brand Pipes, in Straight Grain.

He is bringing a very rare and large collection of antique pipes and period smoking articles from the private museum of the G.Vincent-Genod Pipe Co.  He will have available for viewing the following: 17th century: snuffboxes, 18th century: horn mouthpieces and box wood pipes, 19th century: briar pipes and 20th century: briar pipes until 1920.

Now two other CPCC Educational Glass Display Cases will be available for viewing in the antique pipe section of the Show.  These wonderful displays of antique pipes belong to:

Dr. Peckus will show rare antique pipes and accessories (from Europe) going back hundreds of years.

Dr. Baylaender will show a mix of rare antique pipes and accessories from around the world.

We wish to thank all of the above men for their effort and hard work in preparing their displays for all of us to view.

See you at the Show.
